Privacy Policy

Do Moissanite does not have user accounts, does not run forms, and does not collect personal data. This page explains the few scripts that do run on the site and what each one does.

Analytics

We use Umami, an analytics tool we run ourselves on our own server rather than a third-party service. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. Visitor IP addresses are anonymized before anything is stored, so we never see or keep your full IP address.

A small share of sessions — about 30% — are recorded for session replay, which lets us see how people scroll and click on the site so we can fix confusing layouts. Form fields are masked in these recordings; since the site has no forms, this mainly protects nothing being typed anywhere sensitive in the first place.

Pinterest Save button

Images on the site can show a Pinterest "Save" button on hover, loaded from assets.pinterest.com. If you use it, that interaction is handled by Pinterest under its own privacy policy — we don't see anything from it beyond what the button itself does on the page.

YouTube videos

Where we embed a video, it loads as a static thumbnail first — no YouTube script or cookie runs until you click play. Once clicked, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced player, which does not set tracking cookies for viewers who haven't signed in.

What we don't do

No account creation, no newsletter signup, no comment forms, no third-party ad networks beyond what's described above. If that changes, this page will be updated to reflect it.
